About Charles Berry

Charles Berry

Genres of my painting are Native American, African wildlife and tranquil landscapes. My recent interest in Native American art has been a long time in coming. My maternal Great Grandmother was from a Cherokee Indian tribe in Oklahoma. I have always been interested in Native American culture, but had taken no action in the realm of painting. There are so many fine artists pursuing this theme that I believed there just wasn’t room for one more. I believe I was wrong in that assumption now. Anytime an artist’s interpretation can be enlightening, it will always be welcomed by society. Hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I did in creating them and think about how our Native American Brothers and Sisters lived in harmony with Mother...
